Contact information

For all practical purposes, Chris Schwan can provide you with all the information you need and he is reachable in G-8 throughout the day. If you need to talk to one of the members, most of us will be in G-8 6th period starting in the second trimester of the 98 school year. More private (and secured ?) correspondence can be done via the PEOPLE page.

Meetings

Meetings are planned for after school of Thursdays and usually last around 2 hours. If you plan to attend, be sure to notify whoever is responsible for your transportation. Feel free to bring whatever you think will make the meeting more enjoyable (beverages, relevant documentation, music CDs, software demonstrations, etc....).

- Thursday 11.16.98 : G-8, 2:30-4:30 PM
- Thursday 12.10.98 : G-8, 2:30-4:30 PM

Install-fests

One of the fine activities provided here at PLUG is an install-fest. Install, as in you bring in your computer, let us poke around inside, and (hopefully) get Linux up and running. Fest, short for festival, meaning there will be a crowd there, music, beverages, bad jokes, that sort of thing. Anyone and everyone can participate in Install-fests, and no one is required to do anything they don't want to. The December 10th meeting will plan for our first ever Install-fest, which hopefully will get a few people up and running in time for Winter Break. The whole procedure will be documented, archived, and put on the Perl Linux User Group Information Network.
